Mimi G FREE DIY Poncho Tutorial!

Hi Darlings!!

I am totally loving this quick and easy poncho. I love it the most because I can make it out of seasonal friendly fabrics and rock it all year round! It's pretty warm in Cali compared to so many parts of the world right now but since a nice 60 degrees here means a light jacket or sweater I chose to rock this poncho.

If it were a little cooler in these parts I would have made it in a heavier sweater knit which would also be fab! The fabric I used for my poncho is HERE / Cable knit look option HERE  / Solid color option HERE and any of THESE will be great too.

What does the fox say?

Foxes seem to be a very popular choice for DIYs, quilting and fun crafting projects.

Fox and The Houndstooth designed by Andie Hanna for Robert Kaufman is one of our most popular collections this year. We have been swamped with orders and had to re-order this funky and playful fabric many times.

And what do you think about these cute and colorful items made by our customers?

Designed for Timeless Treasures, this 100% cotton fabric is part of their Fun collection and is perfect for quilting and craft projects!

Super cute and cozy throw blanket made out of fabric from Fox Playground collection by Free Spirit. The backing part is flannel and we recommend to pre-wash both fabrics before starting this project as both shrink differently. There is no pattern, just 2 yards of 40", use round object to cut the corners! Go a step further and style it up with a cute trim, fringe or decorative buttons! Pretty simple! Use this step by step instructions guide to create your own blanket.

We love this cute bag that was made out of 100% cotton duck fabric from Duralee Fabrics. Use a simple grocery paper bag as a pattern. Pretty cool!

If you have anything cute to share that is made out our 'foxy' fabrics, please do so! We would love to see that! Let us know about your 'foxy' projects!
